Default help with noise

I was driving around last night and started to notice a noise coming from the back passenger side of the car. When i rolled the windows down i noticed it was loud enough to be echoing off cars next to me or other objects. It sounds almost like a pinging noise or like something is dragging. There is no noise at idle, and my exhuast is too loud to hear anything when im exelerating. When im just coasting at lows Rpms the noise is there and when I apply brakes the noise gets louder. I assume it has to be brakes but I'm not quite sure.

May be time to replace brake pads, there is a little "indicator" on the pads that makes a kind of squealing, squeeking or a light dragging sound when the pads get thin and need changing. Usally the fronts that start first though, but not always
