Default Any experienced seafoam users in the VA/DC area?

I am looking to do the seafoam treatment on my 02 GT that has about 38K miles on it but I would rather pay someone who has done it before to do it rather than screwing up my car because I did it incorrectly.

I think I can handle putting it in my gas tank and oil but vacuming it into the upper intake is not something I want to do, at least not until after I witness it in person. So does anyone in the NoVa want to make a few bucks?

dude man there isnt any reason you cant do it. Its really simple and if the car dies somehow you just start it back up.

Thanks zig, I have actually been reading several threads on several different board and even though I could probably do it just fine on my own, but I personally would feel more comfortable being there when someone does it so that I can learn hands on. After that I will likely have no problems doing it.

Yeah it is when it doesn't start back up that I wish to avoid at all costs.

I know you folks are trying to encourage me to do it on my own and appreciate that but personaly I would like to give someone a few bucks to do it and learn in person at the same time.

Thing it if you read a thread or two here ppl will say to use a certain hose, if you read threads at other boards ppl say to use different hoses and no matter which thread there is always some guy who says it never did anything.

If someone can show me a thread with pics or video of how it is correctly done I might give it more consideration. Until then I don't want to be the guy who f-s up his baby because he used the wrong hose.

Yup already read that one and other than the idea that you put it in a vacuum line it varies significantly from the "how to's" post on other sites.
