Question Rear-end build Price???

I was $1850 by my local shop to do a complete build on my Mach 1 rear. Build will include 31 spline axles, eaton 31 spline diff., and 4:10's with a bearing kit. I was just wondering if this sounded like it's in the right price range? Any input would be appreciated.

Is that the price with the parts included?

Just for labor you should be looking at:
building rear: $250 - $300
building rear + welding axle tubes: $400 - $500
if you want the torque boxes welded that should be an extra $250.

If parts are included and you're not having anything welded, then that is a bit expensive. Those parts that you mentioned are about $1,000.

I'll check to see if that will include welding anything. I don't think it does though. I thought it was kinda high.
