Default Which Do You All Recommend?

Well, my original plans in the next two weeks or so, were to order the Ford Racing 4.10 Gears & SCT X-Calibrator 2 Combo Package along with a JLT Performance C.A.I. from AmericanMuscle, then have it all installed and Dyno tuned at a local shop. However, the purse srtings got tightend a little bit, so that's all nixed. This is what I'm looking at now;

I can get the Gear & X-Cal2 package, but would have to wait until probably summer to actually have the gears installed and the car Dyno Tuned.

or

I can get the SCT X-Cal2 and the JLT C.A.I. with a tune done by American Muscle (two actually, one for 87 Octane and one for 93 Octane) and install the C.A.I. and upload the tune(s) myself, and then see what the future holds for my gears.

Given that both options are within $10.00 of each other ($569.99 for the Gear & X-Cal 2 Package & $199.99 for the JLT C.A.I. and $379.99 for the SCT X-Cal2) what do you all recommend I go for?

considering that you cant have the gears installed i would get a tune and CAI they are sopposed to be a fantastic mod combo for the 05+ cars.

I agree with spike.....your going to have to shell out some more cash to have gears installed and depending on where you live it could cost between $200-$500. With the CAI and tune you'll notice a huge gain and can do it yourself.
