Default Wideband question for those who have them

So i am looking ot get my own wideband so i dont have to use my freinds LC1 anymore. My question is from what i gathered its bad to run the wideband all the time like in a daily driver or am i wrong here?

from what i read the sensor will poop out fast if its used alot like wired up in a daily driver. Then again i read in a few places that the sensor should be good for 2-3 years then you need to replace it. Which isnt that bad because the sensor isnt that much money.

So does anyone have some long term expereince with a wideband a/f guage and how the sensor is lasting?

i think its the leaded gas that kills the sensor on the wideband. arent the sensors the same as an o2 sensor?
