below in my signature is a list of the mods i recently installed on my car. this is my 3rd mustang and i have to stay i am most pleased with this one. though i've never went to the extent i have on this one i'm very happy with the way the car took to the mods. it's really strong in 1st through 4th now where as before it was kinda strong in 1st and 2nd and nothing in 3rd or 4th to me at least. i'm most happy with the exhaust i chose this time. the SSS coupled with the mac o/r h pipe sounds really great. nice deep tone and very driveable unlike slp loudmouth (which i had before) and gets really loud when you open it up. quite a bit of interior resonance until you get used to it, but i like it. only downside to the SSS cat back is the install, lot of pieces and lot of adjusting. once on you must drive then go back and retighten clamps. worth it to me.i dropped .8 to a full second with these mods before the chip was installed and i was having a bad day. been in iraq for a year so i lost my touch a little but i will get it back, QUICK. wheelspin, slowshifting, no excuses though i just know it can run faster once i get my touch back plus i have the chip in now and it helped a lot. i know i can run at least a 13.5 or better. also the shifter is AWESOME. if you've never tried one you need to. my buddy has an 2006 civic si with a shorter handle only and mine is a shorter throw and more precise. overall i am extremely pleased with my upgrades. parts i didn't get off mustang tuning were.......tb - mac 75mm $150....plenium - trick flow $110....CAI - tunable induction $150. i hope american muscle will someday offer these products. the CAI i've put on all 3 of my stangs and will continue to. very pleased with the plenium, sits higher than stock and looks great and cheap. i did all the work myself. took me a day because of cat back. please post comments or questions. thanks for looking.
