Would the cluster of a 03 mach 1 fit a 04 gt?
Thanks

If Ford was smart, they would sell the gauge face for either the Bullitt or Mach 1 (or both). There is a decent amount of money to be made since not everyone wants white face gauges (me included) and buying the whole concole from Ford is not worth it either ($250). However, http://www.sh-autotrends.com/ has Bullitt style gauge faces(even ones w/ a white background) for $60.

Isn't the bullitt gauge the same style as the mach 1 but with the gt redline?

Essentially, but I think the markings (not the font) are slightly different (as in the lines above the numbers where the needle points).

I just put in the gauge pod from the 03 mach1 into my 04 GT. The motor cranks but doesnt start . Does anyone know why that is? I put back the OG and started right up.

Did you make sure all connections are connected? Is the ECU throwing a code/check engine light?

When i try to crank it the speedo and tach swing all the way to right. If i set the ignition to the run position all the lights come on as normal.

It looks like all of the gauges on that site except for the one set of white gauges marked GT V8 are for six cylinders... and... it doesnt look like you can choose.

did you switch the circuit boards? take the circuit board outta your GT cluster and install it on the Mach cluster like so...

That might be an example. On the site, it says you need to tell them what engine you have (I'm assuming 120 is V6 and 150 is for V8).

On the topic on gauge swaps, will the new 05+ gauges work on a 99-04? I'm not worried about fit, but I would like to know if they will be able to function.

I had a '01 Bullitt Cluster in my '04 GT. It worked FLAWLESSLY. You do have to change the circuit board and it was no bigga deal. Redlines were identical. Only difference is the Mach Cluster says "Premium Fuel Only" If you find an Automatic Mach 1 cluster, the redlines match up too.

Here was mine with a 99 anniversary bezel, I have since changed back to stock.
