drag supention
upgraded axles
drag radials
full bolt-ons and steep gears
sct tuner/diablo tuner/dyno tune

and you should be in the 12s. This isnt guarenteed to get you in the 12s but if you cant run 12s with that, you suck.

Man having a fast car isn't worth working your *** off.. your a kid still in high school..just work 30 hours a week so you have some money and save up..no point in saving all your money from your paychecks putting in 40+ hours a week..have some fun go out with your friends go party..hell thats what I do and I still have a bad *** GT. I have exhaust rims tint system dress up goodies..and I make 6.50 a hour being a bus boy at pappas sea food and I love it. There is always your birthday and christmas to ask for a couple bolt ons here and there =D

Do it man, working your *** off for your car to be what you want it to be is better than working your *** off for some girl who doesn't appreciate anything and who leaves you for some soccer *** who lives in his moms basement at 25 years old and has a dog who he carries in his book bag!!!!!!!

Uh.... yeah, besides, enjoy it while you're young before all the bills come in and you can't do it.

My freind jon with a heavy as vert gt with just full exhuast,4.10's,slicks,lower control arms, filter, pulleys, tuned went 12.98@103 if that heavy car can do it. You can do the same in your coupe.

slicks and launching hard, i can probably see high 12's. hell i have a heavy convert and having touched high 12's yet, but soon....

some times you have to bust your a$$ to get the toys you want, go for it, i did that to make my 95 GT the way it was by having 2 jobs.

Damn! Where do I sign up to drive like that?

Does double clutching make that much of a difference? (VS powershifting)

Double clutch was used back when cars had no synchros. You dont do that anymore and it takes alot more time to do. As you have to literaly let the clutch out in N before then pressing it back in before hitting the next gear.

Power shifting for my car was worth a soild 2 tenths in the 1/4.

floor it, disengage clutch (push pedal in) w/o letting off of the accelerator, shift, egnage clutch (let pedal out)....when u get better at it you can just "pop" the clutch...but if ur car is a DD (except spikeafrica), avoid this method as much as possible...if u bend a shift fork, then ur tranny is toast

EDIT: also donot allow ur rpms to go 500 rpms from where u pushed the pedal in...

I know what it's like to work your *** off for your car, I did it back in 75, I was a total ***** for my ride, every penny I made went to it, and when I look back at those days, I can tell you it was worth every penny, so go for it, be a *****, and enjoy the ride. It'll be the second most expensive ***** you'll ever have, a wife is the most expensive......lol
