Default front speaker problem

I replaced front speakers on my 98 mustang Gt. As i hooked them up there were little gold wires connecting the speakers to the radio. It looked like some amature installed the radio.

I tried it out and they didnt work at all. I checked the fuses to look for a blown one but none were blown, as i can see. I looked for a diagram of the fuse box, so i know which fuse ran the radio. If anyone knows where to find it for my car which is a 4.6 engine, please let me know.:surrender

After I replaced the speakers, i replaced the wiring harness from the radio and they still wont come on. :wallbash:

How could i solve this problem.
I tried making sure that the wires on the back of the radio were connected and they look good. Please let me know what you all think could be the problem and try to advise me on how i could fix it. I have alittle experience in wiring and all. Thanks :bash:

I'm at work right now, but I have a manual at the house so if nobody has given you anything by then, I can let you know what it is for sure. The 94-98's should be the same though.

Hey, on your in car fuse panel, check #11 which should be a 15amp fuse and #8 which should be a 10amp fuse.
