My 2000 gt has 40,000 miles. Should I get the install kit with with the 4.10 gears or no?

4.10 Performance Gears 8.8 What does the 8.8 stand for? I have a 2000 gt conv. 5 speed. Also should I get new bearings?

8.8 is the rear end size in your GT.
So, youll need the 8.8 install kit.
