Default passenger window

My passenger window won't go down. it's power, the power lock switch works on both doors, and the driver window goes down. Ipulled the motor and hot wired it to the battery and the motor works. I don't get it.

COuld be a relay. A common problem with any car with power windows is just that it stops for whatever of the many reasons it could stop. First thing to do is bang on the door right above the speaker. Could be a shorted out ground wire or something arcing. Mine didnt work for a day then I pulled it out of the garage and its worked flawlessly ever since.

Its just one of them things...

Also you might want to actually check the switch in the door. I think thats the problem with one of mine right now.

you try the hit the door method? mine did the same thing. just hit the door while holding the up button and it got loose. Had it happen once.

I tried the door hit method and it got the window to move for a instant but it stopped. I didn't keep messing with it because I would rather have the window stuck up than have it stuck down.

I'm pretty sure it's a bad connection. It didn't start acting up until I got the new exhaust(single chamber flows with dumps). Now that my interior rattles a lot the window won't work.

Its the switch. I got one for mine i think it was 14 bucks, of course, thats the dealer price. But its a common problem with just about any manufactuer, usually caused by rain or constant beating of the switch.

It was the switch, the ford dealer only had one, $20! I installed it on the driver door, the one on the passenger still doesn't work but I figure if the passenger(my girlfriend) wants the window down she can ask me to put it down.
