Default Clutch?

Whats a good clutch kit that can stand some abuse, but still has a pressure plate that is'nt much harder to press than stock? Thanks

depends what kinda power does it need to hold? and any drag racing with sticky tires gonna be happening aswell?

No serious power, I do plan on making some passes this summer with some Drag radials, but no slicks.

so the car is gonna stay n/a with just bolt ons then?

I would do something like a spec stage 1 or 2. Or if you have a 01 and early modle a king cobra clutch is good. the centerforce dual friction is nice also, but might be a bit more then you will ever need.

I have the Centerforce Dual Friction. Im only at like 253 HP at the wheels...

I would Highly recommend Centerfoce Dual Friction. Its a great street/strip setup. that has a stock feel to the pedal..and can take all the abuse you may have planned for it...trust me..

Dont waste your time/money with a SPEC clutch they will CHATTER!!!! and thats not a great experience at all.

I've searched a lot of threads on different sites about clutches cause I think mine is going out....anway, I've narrowed it down to the Centerforce Dual Friction clutch. It seemed like WAY too many people complained about the chatter the SPEC clutches produces.

Excellent choice.

yea..I had a SPEC clutch before I had swapped it out with the centerforce. The SPEC chattered Waaayyyy to much for me..

The centerforce doesnt chatter.

I just bought a dual friction myself. I hope it doesnt chatter or i am gonna be pissed off.

I have the stocker, my car has 93,XXX miles on it and has lasted me through 30+ track passes launching @ 4500 rpms and a few nitrous launches...
