How strict are either of these states?

 

I am from wisconsin...I have never had a problem with my mustang, but my olds 88 failed once becuase of the catalytic converter. I dont really think it is anything to worry about. I don't know if you want any sort of numbers, but i can get some if you do

Im from wisconsin. Some places have emissions, some dont. Usually in the city areas we have it. When I did mine, all they did was odb2 scan. You can always register your car in another county and be within the limits. very easy to bypass if you absolutely wanted to. I could of registered mine out west where we have land but I really dont care that much.

Why do you ask? plan on movin here? we have tons of race stuff around here!

You'll never get checked. I dont know if Mustangs have smog pumps but I know my bro's truck did and he took it out, nobody cares around here. Where are you moving to?
