what does an engine knock sound like????? im not sure if i have one but who knows... i hear some clicking or knocking at low rpms, not idle, just when i give it a little gas, anyone know what a kncok sounds like???? im guessing something is just rattleing

 

Make sure you check ALL of your spark plugs and look for damage

Get under that hood with the engine running and rev the car using the throttle body. If you hear the clicking then try to figure out where thats coming from. Yous can usually hear a knock at all rpms and especially at lower ones. Is the car throwing a code out(usually not related though)? Does the car run OK or does it kinda studder? Does the knocking sound go away when you push the clutch in? Its it smoking or using oil?

well i am changing the spark plugs this weekend, but i am going to have to say no to all of your questions, no codes, no spuderring, no smoke, no knocking at idle, no knocking at high rpms, car is fast as heck, no loss in performance, i am probably imagining things
