Cobra Questions...

I have a 2001 cobra convertible which I just bought but I want to know of some of the common problems that this car has......

Well lets see... increased speeding tickets, girls keep checking you out, you start arriving everywhere early, guzzling gas cause yer constantly driving it, and if you get the upgrade bug then you can kiss yer money goodbye.

Well, if you plan on launching hard your IRS can suffer and bend and break pretty easily. There are lots of upgrades you can do to improve that (new halfshafts, etc). As far as anything under the engine bay, I have not heard of any issues. My co-worker has an 01 and I have yet to hear him say he has a problem with it.

Ford built that engine right with that year.

The fact is, these cobra convertibles are tons of trouble. Just to be kind I'll take it off your hands cheap and save you all the headache. Think of all the thousands of dollars you'll spend in performance mods if you keep it. I'd say I'd be doing you a huge favor, besides, with the top down all the time you could get skin cancer from over exposure, who wants that.

Oh okay I will sell it to you for a dollar because you are being such a nice guy!!!!!!....not. Well that's good to hear...in a bit I will put up some pics of the car.
