Default Tranny going?

well....tonite i gave my friend a lil drive in the stang cause he hasnt been in one...so i opend it up and when i let off the clutch (shifter firmly in gear) this screaching noise in second.....then again in third...think its my synchros? or the clutch?

I had that problem and i had to adjust my short shifter and after i did that the problem never came back.

If changing the shifter helps that awesome. If not if sounds to me like the clutch diaghram fingers are bent or something else with the clutch.

Id venture to say clutch over tranny.

ok...then ill check out after i go to pittsburgh...it only happens under HARD exceleration
