blown fuse?

blown fuse?

well recently after installing my MGW shifter my ciggarette lighter stopped working does anyone happen to know what number the fuse is for the ciggarette lighter? 02 gt?

are you sure you plugged the ciggarette lighter back in after installing the shifter?

My 02

I had a similar problem when I put in my tri-ax shifter. My 02 is like yours, and I had managed to pull the power port loose from its harness when I removed the plastic panel. Pop that thing off and eyeball the wiring harness to your lighter.

If you did blow a fuse, its easy to spot - there's a schematic on the fuse box cover that shows what is what.

ya i made sure i plugged it firmly in before i put the cover back on now your saying theres a harness seperate than what goes into the ciggarette lighter?

make sure its plugged in by the shifter...

check all the fuses... ya'll find it if thats where the problem lies... there are fuses in the driver side dash... as well as driver side fuse box...
