A case of beer and a bottle of Aleve. Personally, I wouldn't trust myself doing the cam swap but your prolly a better mechanic than me. Good luck with all of it tho. Are you dropping the K-member for the header install? Search for csledds pics of her install, it makes my eyes hurt.

you will need some special tools for the cams. you will need something to degree them, and you will probably be better off buying new cam gears since the ones on the stock cams are pressed into place. go to modular depot or whatever othe mustang forum and do a search for cam installs. you should gather some good info there.

You shouldn't need new cam gears.. you only want to replace them if your stock ones are pressed on, and I believe they stopped using those in 01, since your car looks like a DSG it's either an 03 or 04 so I don't think you'll have a problem there.
As far as the AFM cam removal tool.. I don't think I'm even going to try to use this when I do mine, I've heard a lot of good and bad and I think I might as well just go the other route, it's not suppose to take a whole lot longer than using the tool. You do want to get something like this though..

The best advice if doing either the cam install or LT install is allow yourself plenty of time to do it and take your time.. no need to get in a race over it. I've heard that installing the cams will be easier than the LT's lol.
Anyways.. good luck with the installs.. oh and good luck getting some VT Stage 2 N/A cams right now (I'm assuming you're going with the NA's). VT is changing their core supplier and they were suppose to hear something back from them by the end of the month, but they said they haven't. They sent cams to them a little over 2 weeks ago. I'm also waiting for them to come into stock
