Well, I have my rims. And I have my springs. So what's next? I'm weary about doing gears just bc of the possible overall price and warranty issues. I have decide that upon snagging $4500(which can be within the next year), I will get the vortech mongoose kit. However, in the process of saving the few thousand, I will likely be tempted to spend some of it. However, I know that with a s/c, it's helpful to get gears and headers. So should I get the gears/headers and THEN save for a s/c? Or is there something else that I'm not thinkin about that I should get before all of that(either visual OR performance).

Honestly if you have that much money, then spend a little to get headers and gears, you prolly won't ever save up enough to get the S/C. You'll want to do some other little thing, like pulleys or TB

 

save for the supercharger and dont spend it at all. supercharger with stock gears is perfectly fine...

 

sell some of ur videos for cash money and then buy everything you want

 

yea..go for the s/c..its a start to build off of....im saving....got my mom consider it...haha..but it wont really matter in 6 months (i turn 18 and the title is handed to me)..so im just saving and saving.....

 

I'd just like to hold out on the warranty for as long as possible. If I got the s/c next xmas, I'd atleast have most of the warranty until then. I'd rather not put something on right NOW to kill it and then be screwed if something happens 3 months down the road.


it's closer than you think. With a $1750 student loan coming soon PLUS I will be working more AND january starts the busy season for restaurants, the money will come quicker than you may think

 

ied say get either a new front bumper like rousch or sumthign or the steeda q400 2in cowl hood would look sick on your car

 

A friend of mine has an 04 GT that he runs very hard and takes it too the track about twice a month with 4:10's and has had his tranny rebuilt 3 times by Ford.They did'nt say anything about his tune or gears.

Hell he says he drives 140 mph regularly with the 4:10's and wonders why his shiat is messing up all the time.

 

get the supercharger... and when you blow your engine... just take it off and tell the warrenty people you dont know what happend. Then get a built engine under warrenty and slap the supercharger back on it.
