I have an odd humming noise coming from under my car when I start out from stop and progress to about 5 mph in first gear. It seems dependent upon how much i push the clutch in, because as I speed up and release the clutch, the noise goes away.

this is my first manual car, so i may just be an idiot and using the clutch incorrectly, but there's not much i can do. I've tried "correcting" my gas/clutch foot work, but I just end up in a stall.

What is this noise--a problem with my car or a problem with how i drive?

 

Every manual mustang ive ever been in does that. Ive never found out what it is.
