Spring Replacement woes.

You don't need to compress the springs...just unbolt the 2 bolt that hole the strut and drop the whole caliper assembly...there will be a tiny bit of pressure but you can yank it out. just don't kill yourself.

Yep I just dropped everything and pulled them out.

Mine came off and went on flawlessly. I did mine in my buddys backyard with simple tools.

same thing here use a jack to pust the a arm back up to reconnect the bolts...

I never took the 2 bolts off on mine, I just took the big Nut off the strut with an impact wrench and dropped the suspension that way

yea we had the entire suspension replaced....

watch for flying springs if you pull....

That's kinda what happened with mine.The passenger side dropped just fine,the driver side however had to be coaxed down.There's some kind of body imperfection on my driver side inside of the fender that prevented the strut from dropping.Feel inside the fender to make sure nothing is interfering with the strut dropping.Reinstalling the strut took two people.My friend SLOWLY raising the jack to compress the strut while I made sure the strut cleared the imperfection in the fender.
