New Hood

Honestly, that fake-*** hoodscoop is the worst thing about the GT's.
I want a new hood. My buddy has an 04 cobra, and i think that is one bad-mamma-jamma, i totally love the hood.

do you think putting a cobra hood on a GT is kinda poser-ish?? i would NEVER put cobra badges on, but i dont want it to look like something it aint.

So, would cobra hood be poser?
Any recs on a bitchin hood?

I have seen a lot of Cobra R hoods on GT's and never looked at them as posers.

I want a cowl hood

i dont think its poser-ish at all, infact you should get the VIS carbon fiber version

No thats not posing at all, if PEOPLE know, im sure they will think you still have a gt! Hopefully they are not retarded! I like the 03/04 cobra hood too but im happy with my car inside n out! Just need some rims!! haha

Its funny that you mention the fact that the reason you want to get rid of the hood is the fake hood scoop, when the cobra hood scoops are also, nonfunctional.

Thats not true at all. the 03/04 cobra hoods with the dual vents, release heat, and do a mighty good job of it too

so, is a gt with a full saleen body kit minus emblems not a poser? A hood or wing is ok but to me more than that and you are trying to make your car something it will never be.
