Not bad as long as the bearings aren't trash, the set up on the gear was done right, and the clutch packs hold tight. Otherwise, you can add another 200 in parts alone. Then labor if you can't do it yourself.

Yeah that's a good deal. The installof gears alone is about $300, my shop charges $275 but it can be cheaper or more expensive depending on where you go. Plus you get the T-lock, added strength of the 8.8. You can use your current control arms and hardware. You can add quad shocks if you wanted. Plus in the future you could add a panhard bar and torque arm as those things are typically desinged for the 8.8. It's future proof. I'd get it if your wanting 4:10 gears.

Where are you getting it from? And yeah as long as it doesnt whine much and all the assembly is good then should be a good deal.

Do you know how many miles are on the posi or if it's been rebuilt? $300 is an awesome price if its in good shape.
