Im new to these boards and since i just bought my first car i thought it would be a good idea to get on some boards.

i have little mechanicle knowledge but i am a fast learner.

ok so i got my tranny dropped and replaced the rear main, i have also replaced the rear tranny seal, while i had the transmition down i was gonna replace the front transmition seal, after looking at it, i didnt think i could get it out, it was like pinged in there.

After driving the car today i figure out its leaking from that seal, awesome. i want to know if there are any tips to how to get the seal out? screwdriver and hammer?

the car is a 88 2.3l mustang, auto tranny
