ay fellas....my water pump busted last week, it was a stock pump from when i got the car, an i already removed the belt,4 bolts around pump, and even the alternator. HOW DOES IT COME OFF? do i need a puller? or what...i tried pulling it off its pritty hard on their....anyone....

Its just a gasket on there. You may have to beat on it with a hammer or try to sharpen a 1" wide puddie knife and tap it between the pump and the housing. Be careful and good luck.

Double ckeck and make sure you have all the bolts out.

 

thanks for the help .....i had to beat on it for a minute then it came off...my stang is back on the road.....much appreciation to american muscle and staff....
