I'm not familiar with subs, amps, and such but I would like to put a nice system in my car i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on brands, prices, or anything else that could help.

 

i have a sony headunit, 4x6 pioneer speakers on all 4 corners, a sony 12" sub, and a 1200 watt amp. its all that i would need. very clear for only about $1000.

what audio system do you have? shaker 500/1000 or neither

 

right now i have the basic system not the shaker

 

I did one 10'' sub, with 350W amp, and upgraded rear and door speakers... its all was about 400 out the door...I did the install myself. its sounded good to me... no need to spend a grand unless you are trying to show off, or you are a pure audiophile.

wow you spent $1000 on that set up, yikes sorry but thats a terrible deal, but ive got an infinity kappa perfect 10 dual 4 ohm sub with an alpine m500 amp and a jvc kdr305 head unit, i did the install myself it sounds great all for about $475
