Default Throttle Body

Im am considering purchasing the accufab 70mm polished throttle body from am for my 02 gt. But my question is whether i can just get the throttle body and not the plenum? I have a college budget and don't wanna spend an extra 200 for the plenum if i don't need to.

W/o the plenum, you won't gain squat. If your on a budget, they are better things you can do for $200 (like a shifter or RCLA).

+1. the TB works in conjunction with the plenum.

check out ebay. I picked up a used (5000 miles) accufab 70mm TB and plenum for $225 shipped. I did notice a difference in throttle response.

control arms or subframe connectors are way better than a T/B

it you want noticeable gains go with gears. Go with gears, they are just under 200 bucks and your acceleration will be alot better. Go with 3.73's and you'll be happy.
