I don't know why I can't think my way around this one. I am redoing my 5.0 in the 95 and have a new short block with a .060 overbore. The heads I am using are iron GT40s with a Loc Wire Groove machined in them (for later plans). I can just use the standard Loc Wire head gaskets right? I do not need a larger bore head gasket for the pushrod motors?

I think I am confusing myself b/c IIRCN the modular engine pistons travel into the head / combustion chanber and they DO require a larger bore head gasket if you bore out the block..... The 5.0 piston stops short of the deck, so I shouldn't need a different bore for the gasket...right?
