I got ripped off when I got my car, and it took me until I read through here for a few months before I figured it out that I was. I ended up paying $20,800 on mine with 35k mi after dealership fees, and detailing. Oh well, I'm still happy I've got it.

it all depends... pcola is right you could pick up a mach1 for sub 15 in some places.

here it is almost unheared of to see an 05gt for under 20k. Mach1's normally sit from 18-19 k with under 30 miles here in colorado..... cobra terminators are usually 23-25k

i spend a lot of time on craigslists looking at the stangs... mine is relativly well priced, the only stangs that look like a better deal are sold in dealerships.. an 04 with 30k miles for 13k... however, after markeup, finance charges, etc, etc, they always manage to jack it up at least 2-3 grand, even after you talk the base price down another grand.

and Mach's are rare in colorado. I see thousands of V6's, a decent amount of GT's,. plenty of Cobras... more cobras than GT's in fact.... everywhere you turn is a goddamn roush. lol. Saleens and Mach1's are the rarest in denver

 

yeah I hardly ever see machs. I also hardly ever see cobras. i see tons of 05+ gt and V6's as well as tons of 99-04 v6s. I think in the last year I can honestly say I have seen more new GT500's then I have seen 99-04 cobras.

 

I've only see maybe 7 or 8 cobras in my town in my life time.

Seen a few machs.

GTs and v6s are like gnats though.

 

We've got two Machs in town, mine and a red one that looks sharp. And there is still that S197 Saleen at Brighton Ford where I got my car. Last I checked it was listed at $38,000.

a buddy of mine has a 93 black on black vert lx with the leather interior and all he has non stock on it is flowmasters but damn when he revs that baby it makes my skin tingle

 

I've got a '93 Cobra the next street over from mine. Well kept too, definitely not stock but I haven't met the owner or seen under the hood so I can't tell you much about it. It's two-tone, white up top, and blue lower. More like a blue stripe than two-tone, really.
