Default Exhaust / Pipes opinions needed

I want a louder throatier (if that's a word) sound. I've read all the hype but what's reality? I don't want to waste my hard earned cash and I trust the feedback in this forum. What can I add to give me a heartier sound when I get on the gas. I have an 07 GT auto. Thanks in advance.

I like MAC personally http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xpLMILvgibQ

otherwise if you have a large budget can't go wrong with Borla

basanni and magnaflow are pretty good as well

My friend has an 07 Auto Gt aswell. He just got the Mac Boom Tube Axle-Back and it sounds amazing! Really loud, and very throaty. Best sounding kit that ive heard on the new gt's by far.

Not sure where he got it, ill have to ask him, but he payed around $300. Heres a link to one i found for the same price: http://www.ninosport.com/Boom-Tube-A...GT-GT500BT2005

Heres a sound clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Se4Q-iXA8I

Borla Stingers - Not really "throaty", but probably my favorite for 05+.

Straight through design exhausts are exactly wat they are, its just a tube with a baffel and some packing.

examples from loudest to quietest:
SLP Loudmouth 1 ($)
Borla Stingers ($$$)
SLP Loudmouth 2 ($$)
Magnaflow Magnapacks ($$)

(magnapacks and loudmouth 2's are pretty much the same thing, just different companies)

Chambered mufflers are the kinda squarish and what comes stock on most cars. its the best way to make a quiet car. but they can be made loud.

Examples in no particular order:
Flowmaster (any series)
Standard Magnaflow Catback
Slp Powerflow
Mac Catback
Pypes Catback

If i were choosing, i would choose any of the Straight Through design mufflers (the first list) except the SLP Loudmouth 1's..they sound like *** and are super loud (from personal experience) i am running magnapacks on my car now.
