you just have to take it to a shop around your area. it comes with screws and 3mm tape. just get it painted and you will also have to drill holes in your hood. i just let them do it.

**** at that price you might as well get a whole new hood. You could get a badass cowl or a cobra r hood for not much more lol.

 

lol But some V6's came with scoops too, only 2002-2004 models though.

 

my 02 doesnt have a scoop. i think it was just the 2003 and 2004.

 

my 2002just has the one that goes into the hood.

 

man for that price you might as well as get a new hood. I got my hood for $225 which is a steal of a deal. But then there was paint. But still $100 plus for a hood scoop seems kind of much.

 

no hood scoop on my 04 but yea i would buy the whole hood b 4 i spend that much on a scoop

 

Well then maybe only the premium 6's came with them.... not sure but i know for a fact the later 6's had them.

I say your best bet if you want a scoop is to check local junk yards... even if the color is wrong youd have to paint the new ones anyway.

 

its not that i want it to be a gt(well maybe i do)...i just like the look of the scoop. but yeah for those prices i might as well get a new hood. maybe next year.

 

i have the same model as Seanstang only wit the wing on the back. about to put some fresh 17" black and chrome rims on it, in may, when that refund check comes in
