CAI wont do anything but waste your money. Id go with gears/ tuner, or long tubes/ midpipe. Dont waste your money on those little stupid mods.

Your best mod for the intake is pull the intake silencer off the stock airbox. Its the rubber part that is on the plastic airbox and goes into the fender. It just pulls right off. Take that off and get a K&N drop in filter from ebay used will cost you almost nothing and just get a cleaning kit for them and do that. Intakes add very little as the stock setup isnt that bad.

ya...think imma just save for SLP catted O/R Xpipe and buy a handheld tuner...with the free tune, get it tuned for my SLP1's and Xpipe, then start saving for gears/install and then get a new tune after that...(over the coarse of a year )

sounds like a good plan to aim for?

Lower control arms from MM are $250 and though they won't give you more power, you'll be able to put more to the road and be able to handle better. Also, have you though about upgrading the little things like your clutch quadrant? How about the shifter (if it's manual)? Intake elbows are around $100 if you want to go that way. Otherwise, I'm w/ everyone else and just save your cash for better stuff.

Cars are like "CRACK" one bolt on and your hooked. Next thing you know youre at the blood bank selling blood to get underdrive pulleys. Knocking over 711's to get a turbo. GOTTA LOVE IT!!! Get some gears.

You can still do a shifter. I had a auto and put a B&M hammer shifter in it. Way cool shifter.

No, I was just saying you can get a cool shifter for an auto. Its not a shift kit, its a shifter.http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/store...45773_-1_10517

BBK blows!!! Dont buy anything BBK! CAI is ok, just buy one thats reputable and actually does add performance gains (maybe 5rwhp). C&L and JLT are the only ones I trust.

Pretty sure the BBK CAI is the one with the 90* bend right before the MAF, no?
