i was thinking of get a 360 my two of my friends have them and like them.
i have a ps2 and there not making many more games.

im really in to racing game and Forza Motorsport 2 looks really good,
what do you guys think of the xbox 360?

 

I don't tecnically have it yet; but santa claus is bringing it to my 5yr old for xmas this year. Of course this means 'daddy' will get to get some of the games I want as well . I have heard nothing but good things about it.

 

I got a 360, i love the thing. im a pretty casual gamer though.

I love the wirless controllers, i like how they can turn on/shut off the console.

i have a computre in my basement with Windows XP Media,. so the3 xbox can connect to the computer wirelessy and i can listen to all my music and watch my videos and check out my pics from my system in the livingroom.

the PS3 looks pretty slick, but for me the 360 really does the job.

I have an xbox 360 also. I like it, but the reason I chose it over the PS3 was because of $$ and xbox 360 has way more games. I've been a PS player for a long time so it's hard for me to get used to the xbox controller layout.

The only I really don't like about the xbox 360 is it's loud as hell while running.

 

i'm a college student, I can't afford such luxuries, but on occassion I will frequent the video arcade and pump $5 for a little fun

 

I have the 360 and love it. It has a lot more games then PS3 and it's cheaper. Forza 2 is pretty badass and if you like first person shooters and things of that nature, then you have to get Call of Duty 4.

Ive been hooked on Final Fantasy XI Online, and the disc spins CONSTANTLY and damn it gets annoying to hear that.

but i guess if you just access yer mp3 bank through the damn thing you can drown out the humming with yer favorite album.

 

the 360 sounds like a small plane taking off in your living room.

I have a 360 and love it. Really the only game i play is halo 3 and only online now that i beat it lol

 

I have a 360 and I love it. Although I am on my fourth. But the good thing is I had them replaced for free. I did research and the first batch of 360's were having some type of problem. But all is good now. Love the first shooter games like Call Of Duty 4, Halo 3.

360s are about awesome... i dont own one myself, but most my friends do. i still kill them all in halo

 

I just bought one last week. Now's the time to get one while they are offering Forza 2 when you buy the premium system. Also don't forget gears of war that game is just badass

 

My kids are getting one for Christmas, along with about 10 games. COD4 is one of them, but I did not buy Halo 3, a couple of their friends have it and I figured they would just borrow it anyway, so no point in spending the 60 bucks on that one.

 

yeah the 360s are good now that they arent having the red circle problem anymore/ i love mine. and yeah make sure to pick up call of duty 4

 

A properly utilized 360 is about the best media center you could have. I have a 360 and a hacked classic x-box and between the two... I never have to go anywhere else for any of my 160GB of MP3's or 250GB of movies/tv, internet radio, web browsing, etc...

My hacked x-box really is the key to making best use of the 360. The old one hosts all the services that the 360 is looking for and it's really easy to connect to my other servers and data storage network. As you might imagine with me being a computer geek... my home network is something pretty insane.

 

360 here for me. i love it. especially in HD. when ever i play any game, i have a crowd in my dorm cause people cant get enough. lol. especially if i play GH3, (last boss and trying to beat the hardest song.)

PS3 is way out of my price range and htere arent any many games out for it.

 

what if he wants to play halo with his friends over xbox live? he'll need his own copy for that.

 

and 10 games?....

I have two 360s and wouldnt have it any other way. Go to Costco and get the Halo3 edition. It comes with Halo 3 game with copper and camo 360 with plus controller and an additional painted Halo 3 controller for 499. The Elite and Halo 3 360s are the same minus the special paint and Halo ed has smaller hdd drive. I personally like the Halo 3 over Elite.
