Default dynoed my freinds 3.8 mustang that i built last saturday

well my buddy has a 94 v6 base modle stang. I put a vortec on it and it blew the head gaskets a few weeks later, so now it has a newer (only 13k miles on it) 2000 3.8 motor with a ati procharger 11psi pulley 3 core kit. with long tube headers, mac h-pipe, and dumped magnaflow mufflers. car made 309hp and 313ft lbs. god damn

rest of the motor is stock for now, i am gonna add a cam and new tranny and a used 8.8 in the near future. just thought i would share that even the v6 can be sweet. also sadly he can beat my *** now.... well when i am not spraying that is.

Here is the dyno sheet.

Here is the car.

Ps- we did that in front of my house at 8.30am :evil6:

Also its funny as hell ot drive thsi thing around, it looks like a stock v6 stang with no tinted windows and just take off GT wheels and exhaust. needless to say we have surprized quit a few GT's and other random cars out there. if your in Orlando or Melburne Florida look out for him. :glasses9:

bone stock v6 00' stang with TT kit... ran 10.9.... :icon_scra

that doesnt sound right?!

GT's can barely do that on a stock motor... and its almost guaranteed to blow if you dont build up the motor

his web site is velocitymustangperformance.com and he is localed in Deland Florida. He had a picture of his set up and what was done to the car on his site but he is currently updating that part, the rest of the site works fine. He hand made the kit and all parts himself and installed it all himself. He makes the kits and sells them, I believe he has sold a few.
here is his time slip:

v6 mustangs are something everyone counts out cause they are 6 cylinders. But, there are several that will stop on a GT or Cobra any day of the week. The fastest I ever had my v6 was a 14.8, it had 8.8 rear w/3.73, clutch, shifter, D/S, intake, pulleys, chip, maf, TB, P/P intakes, o/r h pipe, shorty headers, catback system and 112K miles
They can be fast, they just need a little push in the right direction and some time and money.

Spike, your buddy has a nice stang. Maybe I will see him at the track tomorrow if he desides to go :bootyshak

yup, Justin has done some work on my old Mustang. He used to work for SCT but i don't think he does any more. Hes a good guy and a really good mechanic. I am going to ask to see if he can install my UD Pulleys since I don't own the tools too.

Na, he said he can't do it. I'll take it to a shop and have it done or I will see if my buddy can do it.
