I've read the codes and info on my odometer on my '01 before, cool feature. But does the car always drop to the 500-800 rpm range when you stop? Mine used to drop every now and then and shake, nothing too bad about that I think. But now since I set the idle at like 950 or something around that with the programmer and don't have a problem with it anymore. http://www.mustangworld.com/ourpics/fcar/dtcodes.htm

its weird, it seems to only do it after several minutes of driving. it happens when the engine heats up right in bewteen hot and cold. and i have a programmer too but i cant remember what the initial idle speed was from the beginning. all i know is the needle flexes up and down real rapidly,

The cold idle at start up is around 1500. w/o a programer its at 700 to 800
w/ my diablo programer its 1000

my car does that shake thing all the time and i just had it taken to ford they said my car was in perfect shape. i would just check the reading and if they are serious take ur car in it wont hurt.
