i want to get some fog lights for my 2k v6. i remember reading somewherethat the even though the v6 did not have fog lights that the car was already wired for fog lights. All you need to do is get the on/off switch? All I need is to mount them and plug-n-play.

Else, I would need a wiring kit like this one + the "coin holder" switch, correct?

I'd like to try to do this myself considering I am not too handy with car mechanics....even as simple as this sounds.

i added foglights to my 04 v6...very easy to install

and v6's are not wired for fog lights...you will need the wiring

the kit i bought came with everything...switch, wires, foglights...and very good instructions

Maybe you bought it from one of our dealers. Ford used to make a kit, but someone told me they discontinued it. To be fair Ford was the only other company making a complete kit, and they may not be any more.

 

well i got mine from V6mustangstuff.com...it was full, wiring harness, bulbs, fuses...everything...i was going to buy from vmp but i dont remember what happened
