i have a 96 gt non pi head car...could i put heads an cams from an 06 cop car on my car....i dont see why i couldnt but thought id ask...

i have a buddy who can get those heads and cams for me real cheap is why i ask.

 

you would probably have to get the intake also, it will work you just cant use your intake, you might be better just taking heads off of a 99-04 gt and taking the intake from that, because the intake on the GTs are probably better than the crown vic's, but i think it would be cool to do

 

i toldu just get a pi swap god 2 think u were considering a camaro........

 

i dont know brett im still thinking that ill be selling my car in the spring and be in seek of a 98+ Z28, or trans am....or maybe ill stick with the stang but still sell this one and just buy a 99+ gt either way i wanna get somthing newer.

 

i know that the ls1 is tempting, but the bodies of those cars are nothing sweet to look at, get a newer stang

 

The '06 CV uses PI heads, so they're the same as prior years on Mustangs. I'm not sure about the cams, but I'd bet they're the same too. Pick up a late model Mustang intake ('02+ for durability) and you're set.
