This actually happened last week, but I forgot about the pic....

But, I passed the 100k mile mark, guess the value of my car is cut in half now!

(side note: 1) Yes, I have a bad ABS sensor, haven't gotten around to replacing it yet. and 2) The coolant light, is a mystery, everthing has been double checked and the damn light will not go off)

 

I'm @ 96xxx miles right now!!!

 

Less than 49,000 here.

there value goes way down and our cars usually start to need parts after 100k that when wtuff starts to break

 

Expect to make little cash on your american car's resale value once you hit 100k.

Our 81 mustang with 250k has a 23$ trade in value.... ie the gas in the car is worth more than the car.

 

107k miles on the chasis (well a little more but my odometer broke)

~ 35k miles on the engine

~10k miles on the tranny/rearend

Nah, dont worry about the value. The one thing that makes me keep smiling as my mileage goes up is that when I look at Fox bodies, I see they are going for 8-10k with 140k miles...fear not, one day, your car will be "collectable..."
