What is the best type of tire for my 04 GT? I need new tires every six months. Yes, I drive a little crazy but damn, they should be lasting longer.

Are you wearing out the front tires, the back tires, or all 4?

I have Goodyears. I know they're good tires. I guess I'm just too rough on them.

I have well over 50+ 1/4 runs with every time spinning rocks off and mine still look good 18k miles later. I think you just need to take it easy...

Ha I have 26,000 miles on my goodyears and they still have another 7-10,000 to go. I also drive very nice. Most of the time. Try spinning and doing donuts in the rain. That helps. and it is easy.

Wider tires help A LOT! i used to have 245s and i blew a set of 4 off in 5 months just because i'm 17 and i drive CRAZY. I toned down my driving now but the bigger tires sure help a lot. ALso, DON"T get good years. They are softer tires and will wear faster.

Put a Falken Azenis tire or Nitto NT01 on, they are auto-cross tires and will probably last you longer with your driving habits.

i can burn 4 tires in a day

its easy...

you see ya burn the rear ones bald... then ya swap the rear w/ the front...

If I were you bud I'd be a little nicer to my car...

Its a fast car... but take it easy... it'll lead to more problems then an empty bank account and 100 bald tires
