Default Cost of installin Springs

I recently purchased ford racing C springs along with my tires. I went to a ford dealership and they quoted me $450 to do the installation of the springs. I cant afford that. How much have you guys payed to get springs installed? Thanks, Mike

In all honesty your better off doing it yourself....really its not that hard and you'll save your self a lot of money.

but... if you really CANNOT do it then i'd ask a buddy to do it for a small fee.

I had a friend introduce me to a mechanic at the ford dealership. They said it would cost $450 if they did it during hours but since this guy does stuff after hours and just uses the shop at the dealership I got a much better deal. He was going to install them for $150 but after he dropped a wrench on my right front fender he said there was no charge. I ended up giving him $50 that he regretably accepted. The things is barely noticable. I would advise finding someone privately intalling them or doing it yourself if you can. You can look at my page. I also have the ford racing C springs on my 2003 GT mustang. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/1354351
