I'm racing a guy I work with a 02 camaro ss for $100 bucks. The conversation went down like this....I call him up and say, hey man when we gonna line em up? He says "what do you have" I say a mustang. He says "it had better be a 03-04 cobra" I say nope its a 03 GT. He laughs and says"you got some money"? I say , I always have money. I say what do you have done to your ss? He says " a catback" which is bullshi#%. I know for a fact he has a full SLP system and thats it. So since he wants to lie, when he asked me what I have done I say...Magnaflow catback and CAI. I'm gonna take great pleasure in spraying all over his ***!

 

Yeah, I'm not sure how good a wheel man he is, but I'm not to shabby. I have drag raced cars/ nitrous and turbo crotch rockets for years and cut nearly perfect lights on a regular basis.

I absolutely love whipping a Ls1 at the track, most of those guys are so smug and laugh at a GT. You should see the looks on their faces when after I smoke them they find out I've got a stock motor and no power adder. It's that look of dismay and shame and then the "why me" look. This is not supposed to happen to me, I have a Ls1, now I must go and kill myself.

 

Watch out for for him, my buddy has nearly the exact mods you have on his '02 but a 125 NX wet and on BFG drag's and barely beat an SS, with just SLP intake/exhaust/headers they're puttin out 350WHP and i kno that for fact we dynoed one last night.

 

ok give it a break... the ss arent that fast - especially if u race him from a stop - highway.. ur dead.
