its the same as the one in the late-01-04 just the way the shifter mounts is different. it holds 360ft lbs. Its a good tranny and will take a good amount of abuse. Just use it till it breaks then upgrade you might go awhile before you need a beefed up one if you are making alot of power.

I've heard of them blowing up with only 6psi of boost which is about 500 hp. Its gunna take more time of them in use to get a better idea.

all the tuners are getting 500hp out of them with lil boost. Problems being reported are the clutch and the injectors. I haven't heard of anyone blowing em up around that level, but then again they don't mention reliability at that power level so you might want to keep askin' around to be sure...

Second that about the clutch. I have heard of them going and I have also heard of people with driveshaft problems at that level. Both are not a big deal to upgrade if you blow them though.

**** the 3650 sucks it's rated at i think some where around 325-350 torque. Well I am well passed that on my race tune and i lost my tranny last night. so i would upgrade the tranny if any real power is going to be put down.

the syncros are weak and they go bad especially going into 3rd. My trany was working flawlessly before the blower than it started to go down hill from there. Like I said before if alot of power is going to be put down than it would be a good idea to upgrade.
