Talking methanol kit installed!!!!

well, i got my car back from the dyno and gained 45+whp...31+rwhp..and 22+torque!!!pretty good for a kit that cost me 600 bucks..

Nice! I'm assuming your blown in order to get any power out of the methanol kit.

you just add it as an attachment or go upload it and other photos etc... to www.photobucket.com and then you can just paste the img tag into here and it will show the pics.

no i havent had any problems..are you running a sc or turbo, its useless without it.. the way it works is it sprays a mist of water/alcohol in the air stream. The heat and chance of pre-ignition are reduced in a big way.. You will almost never see detonation with this set-up. In a way its like having an extra tank of higher octane fuel, being that alcohol has an octane rating of about 110. Mixing it with water maintains it's molecular structure and allows for rapid chamber cooling. Beats alot of intercoolers..the kit cost me around $600, thats not including a retune.

and my apoligies people for not having pics of the dyno sheet, once i get my hands on a camera, i will.

Awesome, not to mention it does wonders for cleaning out the internals of the motor!

How is your tune setup? Do you need to change tunes?

well i was told that no-retune was needed.but i changed pulley size and changed the timing, so i did that...but it was and is well worth the money for me.. here is the link...
