He has a single port car too not split port. When Teal had just a vortec and some flowmasters on the stock 94 single port motor it barley ran a 14.7@95 because of the shitty heads/intake.

He has a 2000 v6... so why wouldn't he have a split port?

"walls blocking" on the heads/lower manifold. i have seen this but got rid of the walls on the heads
the heads/intake are very restrictive on the 94-98 V6 Mustang but once you port them.....OH hell ya

Intake, exhaust, 93 octane tune, I took my spare tire and rear seat out for the track, and I got an awesome launch.
Without launching it, the best I run is a 15.2-15.3

well i've got intake, exhaust, pullies, sct pre-programmed 93oct tune with an automatic and old street tires... but my car still spins off the line and going into 2nd pretty bad so i cant put down any solid numbers yet, but good times man.. dont see too many n/a v6s in the 14s

thanks, bro
Yeah, if you practice launching and don't spin you'll see some much better times. The launch pretty much determines the outcome of the rest of the quarter mile. If you get off the line faster, you end up accelerating a lot faster down the track. A 60 foot time .1 or .2 seconds faster can equate to up to a .3 or .4 seconds faster quarter mile.

Haha yeah, that's what I did the first time I went to the track. I think I ran a 15.5 or something along those lines and the later in the day the worse my times got. I gave up when I finally ran a 15.9

If you lived in florida, I'd show you some tips for getting off the line faster. I'm done racing until I get a new car, though.
