He will run a 14.2-14.3 at best.

Read up on launching this poopy automatic. I usually launch at around 1,200 and go 3/4 throttle, then punch it. I have had a best 60' time of 2.04 on street tires.

Regardless, bring a video camera. So that we've got evidence of what your car runs.

ur first time with no performance parts... 15.1.

a pointer for launching: launch as soon as you see the last yellow, before the light turns green. as far as launching an automatic: floor it.

Go read the first time at the track sticky I made. For a stock geared and stalled auto car. Most people saw there best times from just going from idle to WOT. This is called flashing the convertor and will give it a higher stall out of the hole then just holding the brakes and giving it some gas to bring the rpms up. But, I would try both and see how they work out. With this cooler air and your only mod being a drop in filter and no silencer I would hope mid 14's out of your car.

absolutely wrong. do not floor it. flashes the converter and you go into a spin frenzy.

do as i said. bring up the rpms a little, 3rd amber go 3/4 throttle then to the floor. kind of like a stutter.

Talk about sleeping on the line...you must have left on green. As for the times, I don't know if those are good for Orlando. Kinda sucks because you're car has faster slips than mine because you're a lower altitude. Mine ran 14.795 at 92mph....

why wouldn't you?? it was your first time at the track. you're supposed to experiment. its not like you were racing for money or in a racing bracket.

Your not racing anyone so you can go ahead and red light. Well dont "try" to red light, but try to get a pretty good R/T. My best was a .024, my friend actually cut a .000. R/T's don't mean much. And for an automatic which you don't have to do much, yes those R/T's are pretty bad. Like King said you were "Sleeping on the line".

Kings times are because hes at a much higher altitude, corrected for sea level hes in the low to mid 13's.

If you can pull off a 2.0 60' with the method I told you (works well on street tires) you should be low 14's all day.

you have 4.10's thats why you have to baby it a little off the line

stock geared you can flash the converter and not have much spin...i know i have cut 13.5's with stock gears flashing the converter off of the line on street tires.

Stock geared I could only cut a 2.19 60' at best.

You must have a factory freak GT to run 13.5's bone stock. haha. especially in an automatic. It must of been 40 degrees out lol.

Yeah, those RTs were pretty much expected for a first timer. I remember when I ran my first race, I left at .8 or something really crappy like that. But it takes something like .07 before your brain tells your foot to go, then about the same amount of time before your foot actually goes. So when I see that third amber, I'm out. Best RT last time I went was .065
And yes, like Steeda97 said I'm at a higher altitude. And my times weren't the greatest up here either because my shifts were terrible. I tried powershifting and ended up spinning the tires and took my time to a 15.3

just had a lot of practice at the track...and the temps were like in the 30's 40's when i raced at cecil and atco. october through december were fast months. the car wasnt exactly bone stock. i had CAI, 70mm TB, steeda pulley's and cat back

So you just brake stalled it, did you try flashing the converter? overall for a basically stock auto GT those are pretty much what I expected. The real question is was it fun?
