Default 1st Time @ Track '01 Cobra

Had my first time at the track with my 2001 Cobra last night. was kinda nervous at first being this was my first car that was a standard and i've only had it for like 4 months. mods i have are X-pipe, no cats, flows, stock piping, jlt ram-air intake, sct X3 tuner.

ran 6 times.... my best 3 were...

1.
60' - 2.243
1/4 - 13.884
mph - 103.36

2.
60' - 2.242
1/4 - 13.841
mph - 103.63

3.
60' - 2.247
1/4 - 13.839
mph- 104.00

i was hoping to run better than that, but never could get a good launch. i tried launching from 1500 - 3000. would either nosedive on me and almost stall or the rear end would hop so bad i thought sumthin would break. lol. kind of a hot night too. what you guys think.

not bad breaking into the 13's on your first try and not being familiar with a manual transmission.

the car definitely has 13.40's in it if you knock .2 - .25 tenths off your 60ft. My best 60fts have been 2.05. I just floored it off of 1200rpms. Seems to work best for me on street tires and a stock gear.

104 is a pretty good mph for no more than you have done. When our track opens ill call the car "Done" If I can 105 regardless of ET.

GG though dude keep practicing once you get the launch down you'll be doing great

Good times for the 60'. Best thing you can do like they said is go back more and practice that 60' time till you find the sweet spot.
