Default new saleen at the track

went to the track, and there it was... a brand new 05 saleen!! He pulled next to me and I was shakeing in my boots... until we ran. I know it only has like 25 more horses than a 05 GT, but for the price I would of thougt it would be closer to the 12's. It ran a best of 13.8(out of like 7 runs) Same thing with another 05 GT, it was an auto w/slp catback, tune, and pulleys, and it ran the same. I know it could have a lot to due with the driver, and it was 90 degrees at a crappy track, but i was running 13.5's after a hour and a half drive.

Yeah! I ran a 13.5 @ 103, and he ran a 13.8 @ 102. Like the guy said above, the 20" rims do hurt him alot, but the extra HP should even that out, and it has alot to do with the drivers, esp at this crappy track.

A man after my own heart. I love my Draglite 15's with the little skinnies up front. I have raced several beautiful 97 Cobra's at the track that had 18" chrome wheels and I whipped them both. That's when I could only run a 13.70. I think those heavy *** wheels and thin sidewall tires really killed them.

dont get me wrong, though, 95-04 mustangs look good with 17s with low pros on them, but it will hurt their e/t some.
