Teal v6 mustang vs. Yellow C5 Vette
Preface:
On the way to school today i was ****ing arround with the boost controler, i finally have an idea of how it works now so i was messing witht he gain and the boost % to get both of my settings right, because i messed with it before and i wasnt getting as much boost etc etc. so for ~ 10 minutes im doing 4th gear pulls on the HW. I just got everything done before i say the vette.
then, at about 10:30 I see a yellow vette come up behind me on I-95. There was kinda a lot of traffic so there way no room to do anything. So i go w/e but i see he pulled off onto the 192 exit, so i followed him (im going to FIT anyhow so wtf ever) so, he zips ahead and traffic and i follow on route I get next to him and i put it into 2nd and he downshifts and i jumped first, i pulled on him hit 3rd then slowed down, i dont think he was catching up with me but we didnt have much time. So then a little bit down the way i go down again, this time we went at the same time and i started walking him, again we had to slow down.
THEN, what everyone wishes for when they are ****ing arround like this . . . .
WE CATCH A LIGHT!!!!!
So i look over and he is smiling so i bring the RPMS to ~ 2000 and hold it and wait. a few seconds before the light turns green a van pulls out and goes into my lane "f**k" i thought now i know this wont get to that fast of a speed . . . any how. Light goes green and i spin a little bit, i go WOT through first, i hit 2nd pretty hard, i was allready ahead of him at this point, but i can hear his car behind me (he had a mean sounding exhaust) im spinning in 2nd and i see the van infront of me getting a lot closer! I hit third and at the sound of the tires barking i start to make my way over into his lane to get arround the van, i then shut down when i got infront of him as more traffic arrived.
I was paying attention to traffic so i didnt see exactly how far i pulled but it seemed pretty cut and dry.

LS1 Vette: 0
He seemed like a damn cool guy though, definatly modified, at least a catback because it sounded mean as f**k. OH and he had a little cuban flag decal on his car, i assume he is cuban because he looked pretty dark (from what i saw)
All in all a VERY fun drive to school

not to be an *** but Idont think anyone would think teals car is a sixer... sure it lacks GT badges but thatdoesnt give him nearly enough credit... ever think about getting '3.8' badges, from autobadges.com
