traction lock on a 98 auto gt

how do you turn the t-lock off on a 98 gt auto, and when racing why should ya turn it off?

You can't. Its in the rearend, only way you can get it off is if you take it out. I've never heard that you should turn it off when racing.

are you talking about the traction control or the t-loc (limited slip)..
