geared auto vs manual

just wonderin...
would a 04 GT auto with 3.73s beat a 04 GT 5 speed?

what if the auto is tuned....still on regular gas..just trans firmed up....

maybe, but remember if they have the same mods the manual will have 5% more HP at the wheels

I've taken out several 5 speed's when I just had 4.10's and a mail order tune. Not talking about a little either just pulled on it. Theres a couple of ppl on this board i've done this to. cough *spike* cough.
